We’re thrilled to share highlights from our incredible experience at Dome Fest West 2025, held from May 1–4 in Boulder, Colorado. This year’s edition was a spectacular celebration of immersive storytelling, fulldome cinema, and the vibrant global community that brings it all to life. Dessignare Studio was honored to participate as an exhibitor, speaker, sponsor, and media partner—bringing the full force of our creative team to this landmark event.
A Multidimensional Presence
From start to finish, the Dessignare Studio team was deeply involved in multiple aspects of the festival:
- 🎤 Damné Jesús Pérez Irigoyen, director of Cosmonaute 360, was featured as a panelist in “Expanding Planetarium Missions into Art & Culture Content”, curated by Kate McCallum. This insightful discussion explored how planetariums are evolving into immersive spaces for art, music, and cultural storytelling—pushing the boundaries of dome content beyond science.
- 🗣️ Damné Jesús also co-led a round table on “Enhancing Audience Engagement: Live & Interactive Strategies”, reimagining how domes can connect with audiences through real-time experiences.
- 🛰️ As part of the Fulldome Forward Expo, held May 1–2, we showcased Cosmonaute 360 – Immersive Experiences for education – and introduced attendees to our unique approach to immersive storytelling, tech innovation, and collaborative content creation.

A Sneak Peek at Cosmonaute 360: Time to Fly
One of the most exciting moments of the week was the special teaser presentation of our upcoming fulldome film, Cosmonaute 360: Time to Fly. This new chapter in the trilogy directed by Damné Jesús and produced by Dessignare Studio has secured a global distribution by HUBBLO Immersion.
🎬 The teaser was unveiled at Fiske Planetarium, presented by Tammy Peddle of HUBBLO Immersion. It was a proud moment for our team to see our work shared with such a passionate and engaged audience.
🚀 The official premiere of Time to Fly is happening at the Jena Fulldome Festival in Germany!
The Jena FullDome Festival is an annual event hosted at the Zeiss Planetarium Jena in Germany. It showcases immersive media, electronic arts, science, and other related fields. The festival serves as a platform where artists, researchers, and professionals present their work using 360-degree digital dome projection, with the goal of exploring the full potential of the fulldome format and offering space for transformative, immersive experiences.

This year, Cosmonaute 360 is proud to be part of the lineup with the latest episodes in the series: Mission: RESCUE and Time to Fly. In these new adventures, the cosmo-explorers take audiences on journeys that highlight critical environmental themes—learning about endangered species and the consequences of plastic consumption. These stories aim to raise awareness, especially among younger generations, about the urgent need to protect our planet.
