Bringing Cosmonaute 360 to the Hungarian Dome
This June, Dessignare Studio had the honor of participating in the Annecy International Animation Festival, the world’s most important celebration of animation. For the first time, our original production Cosmonaute 360 was featured in the Hungarian Dome, a unique 360° immersive cinema space that showcased classic and contemporary works of Hungarian animation alongside international guest productions.
A Special Collaboration: Mexico Meets Hungary
As part of a special collaboration with Hunimation and HUBBLO Immersion, we proudly presented the full Cosmonaute 360 trilogy to audiences in Annecy. The screenings took place at Place François de Menthon, giving festival-goers the chance to step inside a dome and journey through our universe of immersive storytelling.
This marked a milestone for Mexican animation: bringing our characters, worlds, and creativity to an international stage, in dialogue with the Hungarian Tribute program of the festival.
Celebrating Together at Annecy
Beyond the screenings, Dessignare Studio joined the vibrant Mexican delegation at Annecy. Throughout the week, we participated in official programming, networking sessions, and cultural events.
We also hosted the Meet & Grill 2025, gathering friends, collaborators, and colleagues from around the world to celebrate Mexican creativity with tacos, burritos, margaritas — and lots of laughter.
A Journey Years in the Making
Our path to Annecy has been an adventure in itself. Back in 2017, all we had was a postcard, a concept, and countless questions. Over the years, we’ve pitched, produced, and distributed our projects, exploring every possible avenue: from designing toys and teaching workshops to throwing parties and building communities around our stories.
The journey of Cosmonaute 360 has taught us as much as it has allowed us to share. Every step has been about learning, teaching, and inventing new ways to tell stories and bring characters to life.
