Dessignare Studio at Pixelatl Festival 2025: Immersive Experiences for a Sustainable Future

This September, Dessignare Media had the honor of participating in Pixelatl Festival 2025, one of Latin America’s most important gatherings for creativity, animation, and new media. Our presence brought together screenings, workshops, and international collaborations — all focused on exploring how immersive media can inspire messages for a more sustainable future.

Premiere Screenings at Planetario Lunaria

In collaboration with 4Pi Productions and with the support of the British Council and Ana Cruz Rodríguez, we presented two special fulldome films at Planetario Lunaria in Guadalajara:

Cosmonaute 360: Time to Fly – the latest chapter of Cosmonaute 360, our pioneering animated series for planetariums and interactive centers.
The Voyage of Arka Kinari – an inspiring immersive journey produced by 4Pi Productions, presented for the first time in Spanish.

These screenings marked the Mexican premiere of Cosmonaute 360: Time to Fly, bringing to life a family-friendly immersive adventure, made possible thanks to the Pixelatl community.

Workshop: Storytelling in Immersive Spaces

As part of Pixelatl’s Expo area, we hosted the workshop “Narrative in Immersive Spaces”, led by Jesús Pérez Irigoyen (Dessignare) and Janire Nájera (4Pi Productions). Participants explored how cross-media storytelling and advanced technology can merge to create powerful experiences for domes and immersive environments.

We also shared case studies from our recent productions, including the award-winning Cosmonaute 360, which was accelerated at Ciudad Creativa Digital Guadalajara.

Creative Encounters at Pixelatl

Beyond the dome, our participation was also about community. Over the years, projects like Sticker Attack and collaborations with artists such as Lolo Aburto have kept us connected with Pixelatl’s creative energy. This year was no exception: with our VLOGSTACTIC! contest for content creators we continue building bridges that connect independent creators with immersive media opportunities.

Looking Ahead

Pixelatl 2025 was a milestone for Dessignare Media — not only to celebrate the premiere of our new immersive film, but also to reaffirm our mission of fostering collaboration, creativity, and sustainability through audiovisual storytelling.
