Cinema México is a reference tool for distributors, exhibitors, festival and exhibition programmers, critics and film researchers.
Each film requires different windows to reach its audience. Therefore, the Mexican Film Institute attempts to promote national cinema and its richness by placing at the disposal of individuals, distributors, programmers, exhibition spaces, showcases and
festivals, information on the most recent productions.
Another year for Cinema México, which reasserts itself as a necessary link between directors, their stories and all of the sectors making up this growing industry, both in Mexico and around the world.
Mexico’s cultural diversity enriches our cinema year in and year out. The multiplicity of stories, directors, points of view, audiovisual resources, formats and languages with which films are being made, are the subject of this catalogue Cinema México 2020. Here, we show information on 87 features, both fiction and documentary, and 113 short films, made in different regions, languages and contexts
